In 1976 after graduating Jim was given an opportunity to join the family farm business, after a couple of years in the farming industry Jim purchased his first farm at age 19. At age 20 Jim sold this farm for his first profit in a Real Estate transaction. After 16 years in agriculture Jim left the farming business and proceeded to buy another farm and develop it into several smaller tracts of land. This began a passion in the Real Estate business that led to an Illinois State Real Estate Sales License in 1999. After working for Wooldridge Real Estate for two years and obtaining his Broker License in 2001, Jim became the Managing Broker of another Real Estate Firm in the Jacksonville Illinois area.
